While Photoshop is obviously focused on photo-editing, what many users ignore is that it can also be used to create and edit videos. While not as powerful as dedicated software such as Adobe Premiere or Adobe After Effects, Photoshop does quite a good job, with two important advantages:
- You don’t have to buy any other software, which can be expensive and not worth the investment if you edit videos only occasionally.
- You’ll have to learn a few tools specific to video editing, but can still put your current knowledge of Photoshop to use to add special effects, work with layers, etc…
